Intelligent Call Handling

ArubaOS8.x replaces Call Admission Control with Intelligent Call Handling (ICH). ICH monitors the channel utilization of all radios of the APs on themanaged device. If the channel utilization exceeds beyond a configurable threshold on a radio, newUCCUnified Communications and Collaboration. UCC is a term used to describe the integration of various communications methods with collaboration tools such as virtual whiteboards, real-time audio and video conferencing, and enhanced call control capabilities.calls are not prioritized. This is to ensure that existing calls on the radio are not penalized due to a new call when channel utilization is very high. ICH is enabled by default and applies to all ALGs supported by UCM.

In mastercontrollermode, ICH must be configured from the/mdnode hierarchy of the mastercontroller.

The following procedure describes how to configure ICH:

1.In the流动性Masternode hierarchy, navigate toConfiguration > System > Profiles > All Profiles.

2.ExpandUCCand clickIntelligent Call Handling Configuration.

3.In theIntelligent Call Handling Configurationsection, configure the following settings:

a.Select theIntelligent Call Handlingcheck box.

b.In theChannel Utilization Thresholdtext-box, enter the channel utilization value.

4.ClickSubmit.

5.ClickPending Changes.

6.In thePending Changeswindow, select the check box and clickDeploy changes.
