Remote AP Static Inner IP Address

The Remote AP static inner IP address feature assigns a static inner IP address to a Remote AP. A newremote-IP addressparameter is added to the existing configuration commands.

The following procedure describes how to configureRemote APstatic inner IP address:

To view IP address parameter in the local database:

1.In theManaged Networknode hierarchy, navigate to theConfiguration>Authentication>Auth Serverstab.

2.In theAll Serverstable, selectInternalunder theNamefield.

3.A list ofStaticIP for RAPsis displayed underServer > Internaltable.

To view the IP Address parameter in the Remote AP Whitelist:

1.In theManaged Networknode hierarchy, navigate to theConfiguration > Access Points > Remote APstab.

The followingCLICommand-Line Interface. A console interface with a command line shell that allows users to execute text input as commands and convert these commands to appropriate functions.commands configureRemote APstatic inner IP address:

(host) [mynode] (config) #local-userdb add {generate-username|username } {generate-password|password} {remote-ip }

(host) [mynode] (config) #local-userdb modify {username < name>} {remote-ip }

Issue the following command in config mode:

(host) [mynode] (config) #whitelist-db rap add {mac-address

}{ap-group }{remote-ip }

(host) [mynode] (config) #whitelist-db rap modify {mac-address

} {remote-ip}

You cannot configure the IP Address parameter using the WebUI.
