Remote AP Diagnostics

Use theDiagnosticstab to view log files, or run diagnostic tests that can help the IT department troubleshoot errors.

To run a diagnostic test on aremote APRemote APs extend corporate network to the users working from home or at temporary work sites. Remote APs are deplyed at branch office sites and are connected to the central network on a WAN link.:

1.In theManaged Networknode hierarchy, navigate to theDiagnostics> Tools菜单。

2.SelectPing,Traceroute, orTracepathtab.

Thepingandtraceroutetests require that you enter a network destination in the form of an IP address orFQDNFully Qualified Domain Name. FQDN is a complete domain name that identifies a computer or host on the Internet., and select eitherbridgeortunnelmode for the test.The NSLookupdiagnostic test requires that you enter a destination only. The test checks the link between the AP and the流动性的主人, and does not require any additional test configuration settings.

3.点击Traceto start the test. The results of the test will appear in theDiagnosticswindow.

4.To view log files in a separate browser window:

a.点击Diagnostics> Logs菜单。

b。Select a log file name from theLogsdrop-down list.
