TransferringArubaOSImage Files

You can download anArubaOSimage file onto amanaged devicefrom aTFTPTrivial File Transfer Protocol. The TFTP is a software utility for transferring files from or to a remote host.,FTPFile Transfer Protocol. A standard network protocol used for transferring files between a client and server on a computer network., orSCPSecure Copy Protocol. SCP is a network protocol that supports file transfers between hosts on a network.server. In addition, the WebUI allows you to upload anArubaOSimage file from the local PC on which you are running the browser.

When you transfer anArubaOSimage file to amanaged device,您必须指定系统分区which the file is copied. The WebUI shows the current content of the system partitions on themanaged device. You have the option of rebooting themanaged devicewith the transferred image file.

The following procedure describes how to transfer theArubaOSimage file.

1.In theMobility Masternode hierarchy, navigate to theMaintenance > Software Management > Upgradepage.

3.Enter or select the appropriate values for the file transfer method.

4.Select the system partition to which the image file is copied.

5.Specify whether themanaged deviceis to be rebooted after the image file is transferred, and whether the current configuration is saved before themanaged deviceis rebooted.

6.ClickUpgrade.
